Summary
Abstract: Storm Events Database is a web page at the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). The Storm Events Database contains data from: All US Weather Events from 1993 - Current, as entered into the Storm Data database. (Except 6/93 - 7/93, which is missing) Plus additional data from the NOAA/National Weather Service/National Centers for Environmental Prediction/Storm Prediction Center, Including Tornadoes 1950-1992, Thunderstorm Winds 1955-1992, Hail 1955-1992. The Storm Events Database is updated when the data becomes available to NCDC. The data is updated on a monthly basis and is usually 120 days behind the current month.
