Summary
Abstract: The gridded MODIS land cover product presents gridded
statistical summaries of standard 1km MODIS land cover product
MOD12Q1 (Friedl et al., 2002). The product is intended for use
in Giovanni system focused on regional (NEESPI) analysis of
surface processes and climate modeling. The land cover product
is generated at 1 degree spatial resolution for the year
