Summary

Abstract: The Missouri Botanical Garden (MOBOT) makes available a variety of data for
vascular plants throughout the globe. W3TROPICOS is a catalogue of specimens
and species information. It provides new and improved access to the Missouri
Botanical Garden's VAST nomenclatural database and associated authority files.
Centred around plant names, specimens and bibliographic references, it also
includes types, synonyms, literature, distribution, vernacular names, and
chromosome counts.
