Summary
Abstract: Earthshots is an ebook of before-and-after Landsat images (1972-present),
showing recent environmental events and introducing remote sensing. Earthshots
comes from the U.S. Geological Survey's EROS Center, Sioux Falls, SD, the
world's largest archive of earth science data.

[Summary provided by USGS.]

Purpose: The images displayed in Earthshots are examples of Landsat data that help scientists worldwide understand more about how both people and nature are changing the landscape.
