Abstract:
This data set contains chemical analyses of total and organic carbon levels which are used to determine inorganic carbon levels in sedimentary samples. The samples were collected as part of research cruises conducted by, or for, the Geological Survey of Canada (Atlantic).These analyses are conducted to study sedimentation rates, to understand carbon content of sediments, and to draw conclusions about productivity.
