GERM (Geochemical Earth Reference Model) Resevoir Database
Entry ID:
GERM
Summary
Abstract:
The GERM (Geochemical Earth Reference Model) Reservoir Database is
comprised of a collection geochemical data that was compiled for major Earth and Solar System reservoirs and includes the major element oxide and trace element abundances for chondritic meteorites, primitive Earth mantle, mid-ocean ridge basalts (MORB), and the Sun. The data come from well-known and respected sources in Geochemistry (please see the references below) and may be used in geochemical modeling provided that credit is given to the data provider(s). The database may be accessed via the following URL: http://earthref.sdsc.edu/databases/GERMRD/.
