Abstract:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic halocarbon compounds made by Thomas Haine and oceanic PCO2 and TCO2 made by J Robertson during the D207 research cruise in the Southern Ocean as part of UK World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE). The cruise began on 19th February 1994 and ended on the 31st March 1994 with a spatial coverage of -28N to -49N latitude and +61E to +51E longitude.
The data consists of: -377 measurements of tetrachloromethane per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by purging, cryogenic trapping and gas chromatography. -measurements of pCO2 by gas chromatography -measurements of TCO2 using an extractor unit combined with coulometric analysis of the carbonate content Geographic Coverage
