Summary
Abstract: The El Nino Theme Page is a focused resource of information related to
the El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) phenomenon. It links to
widely distributed information related to El Nino, including data from
the major ocean observing systems and satellites which monitor El
Nino. It includes links to realtime data, 3-D Animations, forecasts
analyses, impacts, predictions, and historical perspectives on El Nino
and La Nina. The El Nino Theme Page at
http://www.pmel.noaa.gov/toga-tao/el-nino/nino-home.html
is brought to you by the TAO project at PMEL
(http://www.pmel.noaa.gov/toga-tao/).

Temporal Coverage
Start Date: 2009-12-19
Stop Date: 2011-01-08
Quality See Readme file ... data collected as header, depth (m), diameter (cm)

Borehole diameter was attempted to be wide enough to allow passage of a large ADCP instrument ... this worked well in the upper parts of the borehole but not at great depth in the permeable marine ice layer (530-600 m).

Note - depths and altitudes provided in spatial coverage are referenced back to sea level.

The minimum depth asl refers to the height of the ice surface.
Access Constraints The data are not yet publicly available.
