Summary
Abstract:
An intensive oceanographic survey was conducted during 35 days from 2012 August 4 to September 7 by IBRV ARAON to measure the spatial and temporal variation of water masses in the Chukchi Borderland/Mendeleev Ridge. The profiles of temperature, salinity and depth were obtained using CTD/Rosette system at 102 areas.
Purpose: To investigate the variability in spatial and temporal distribution of water masses and understand its transformation along the pathways and relationship with sea ice melting in the Chukchi Borderland/Mendeleev Ridge. Geographic Coverage
