Abstract:
The basin-scale oceanographic survey was conducted to understand the unique water column structure at Marian Cove in 2011. The water mass from Bransfield Strait inflows along the channel and recirculates with both glaciers melt water and snow melt water close to the ice wall. The vertical temperature, salinity and fluorescence were obtained at 10 stations using CTD with every month period
Purpose: Monitoring of spatio-temporal variability of water column in Marian Cove to investigate the marine environment around King Sejong station Geographic Coverage
