Flinders Reef Coral Boron Isotope Data and pH Reconstruction
Entry ID:
NOAA_NCDC_PALEO_2005-069
Summary
Abstract:
This data set consists of 5-Yr interval Flinders Reef Boron Isotope, pH,
Aragonite Saturation State, Carbon Isotope, Extension Rate and Calcification Data for 1708 to 1988. The oceans are becoming more acidic due to absorption of anthropogenic carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. The impact of ocean acidification on marine ecosystems is unclear, but it will likely depend on species adaptability ... ![]()
