Summary
Abstract: This data set contains sea surface temperature (SST) estimates from 5 Atlantic
cores discussed in the original reference. Cores 90-013-013-P and SU 81-18
cover the Holocene and a portion of stage 2, cores CH 69-09, V 25-56 and V
25-59 cover the entire last climatic cycle. Table A contains the cores
location, and Tables A1-A5 contain the cold and warm season SSTs reconstructed
by the Revised Analog Method (RAM) (see the original reference), as well as
the associated standard deviations and dissimilarity coefficients. Cold and
warm season SSTs refer to the average winter [January-March] and summer
[July-September] SSTs classed into cold and warm groups.
