Twenty-nine whole-rock samples were analysed for their major- and trace-element compositions. Whole-rock and trace-element analyses were determined by X-ray fluorescence techniques using a Siemens SRS-1 spectrometer at Macquarie University following the method of Norrish and Hutton (1969).
