Summary
Abstract: This observation was started in Jan. 1997 at China's Zhongshan Station,
Antarctica. It is designed to observe earth's magnetic field including the
horizontal component in north-south direction (H), the horizontal component in
east-west direction (D), and the vertical component (Z). It is a collaborative
scientific project between the Polar Research Institute of China and the
National Institute of Polar Research, Japan.
