The 1997/98 MAGIP season of 5 months was the longest in recent years. The survey team worked very well together and a great variety of work was completed. It is hoped that this report in addition to the Survey Report by John Hyslop (See metadata record survey_1997-98_V2_V5) is of benefit to future survey parties. This report should at least help prepare the assistant surveyor for the type of work and difficulties they are likely to encounter.
