Abstract:
The Tiflis Observatory data resides in 24 books, 'Beobachtungen Des Tifliser
Physikalischen Observatoriums' (C/db AO-Tm). These books contain tables of hourly observations and daily, monthly and annual weather data for each year from 1891 to 1927. This shapefile of contours was interpolated from a triangulated irregular network that was generated from slope corrected orthometric heights of Antarctica.
These heights were derived using ERS radar altimetry. The ArcView 3D analyst was used to interpolate the contours. The resulting shapefile was converted to an Arc/Info coverage. The Arcedit generalize command was used to thin the ... ![]()
