Summary
Abstract: These data sets are the regularly published summaries of paleomagnetic
determinations carried out in the territory of the USSR for the period from
1958 to 1989. The tabular data are based on the determinations of sufficient
completeness, confirmed by their authors. Each paleomagnetic determination
includes following parameters: index, geological age code, rock units, site
location coordinates, ancient magnetization elements, paleopole coordinates,
and statistical estimations. The tables include data for 960 paleomagnetic
determinations, arranged by geologic age from younger to older rock units and
within each epoch by regions from west to east. The tables are accompanied with
the explanatory note and detailed comments. The instruments are the standard
equipment of paleomagnetic laboratory: magnetometer (usually GR3 or GR4),
furnace for heat treatment, devices for alternative field treatment,
Gelmgolt's rings and so on.
