Abstract: This geographic information system (GIS) data layer shows the dominant
lithology and geochemical, termed lithogeochemical, character of near-surface
bedrock in the New England region covering the states of Connecticut, Maine,
Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The bedrock units in
