Summary
Abstract: The Mineralogy Database contains 4,255 individual mineral species descriptions
with links to their crystallography, X-Ray powder diffraction, chemical
composition, physical and optical properties, Dana's New classification, and
Strunz classification. The site contains an alphabetical list of the 4,255
mineral species and a list of links to mineralogy data. The site also includes
crystal models developed in JAVA. To view the 3-dimensional model view, the
user's browser must be JAVA-enabled.
