Summary
Abstract:
The data within the A2D Technologies database is comprised of available well
log types for 14,000 wells that are located throughout the Gulf of Mexico. Well logs may be requested from A2D Technologies and are deliverable via regular mail. This database is part of the National Geoscience Data Repository System (NGDRS) which is maintained by the American Geological Institute (AGI) and is made possible through the joint sponsorship of the petroleum industry and the Department of Energy (DOE). The development of the NGDRS was inspired by the need to preserve the large volumes of geologic data that were collected by the petroleum industry and its associated agencies during the assessment and development of well sites.
