Summary
Abstract:
The Fairfield Industries Seismic Surveys database is comprised of
three-dimensional seismic data surveys boundaries and support data, which include side lables, in-line sections, cross-line sections, processing sequence, and display parameters, for the Gulf of Mexico region. This database is part of the National Geoscience Data Repository System (NGDRS) which is maintained by the American Geological Institute (AGI) and is made possible through the joint sponsorship of the petroleum industry and the Department of Energy (DOE). The development of the NGDRS was inspired by the need to preserve the large volumes of geologic data that were collected by the petroleum industry and its associated agencies during the assessment and development of well sites.
