Summary
Abstract: This product archive is part of the larger Heat Budget Archive which includes three other kinds of data. The data set consists of daily values of day flux, night flux, absorbed solar energy, and available solar energy. The data ranges over a 3-month season and are available in polar-stereographic and mercator projections and well as a smaller polar 'chip'. A subset of this product is available for 10 years in the Mercator format, and is called the 10-year Mercator Heat Budget product.

Purpose: To make a wide range of climatic data available to researchers and the public.
