Abstract: ABSTRACT: The IASI level 2 files are NOAA-unique retrieval products generated from the IASI level 1C, AMUS-A , and MHS data files aboard the MetOp series of satellites. The level 2 product contains profiles of temperature, water vapor, and trace gases (CO2, CO, O3, CH4, N2O, SO2, HNO3). Purpose: PURPOSE: For temperature, moisture, and trace gas data assimilation into numerical weather prediction models and climate reprocessing.
