Abstract: Landsat 7 is a U.S. satellite used to acquire remotely sensed images of the
Earth's land surface and surrounding coastal regions. Various images of
Hurricane Katrina are available from this NASA Landsat page. Included here are
before and after images of the Lake Pontchartrain region showing the effects of
Katrina.
