Summary
Abstract: The primary mission of the Ulysses spacecraft was to characterize the
heliosphere as a function of solar latitude. The periods of primary scientific
interest is when Ulysses was at or higher than 70 degrees latitude at both the
Sun's south and north poles. On 26 June 1994, Ulysses reached 70 degrees south.
There it began a four-month observation from high latitudes of the complex
forces at work in the Sun's outer atmosphere-the corona.

Ulysses data products are available from the web sites of Ulysses science
teams, as well as archives at the NSSDC, Greenbelt, MD, USA, and ESTEC, ESA,
Nordwijk, the Netherlands. At NSSDC, Ulysses data may be found on several data
systems (COHOweb, CDAWweb, and Anonymous FTP). Data is also available from the
ESA Ulysses Data System.

Data products include:
mag
Interplanetary and Jovian magnetic field data from the VHM/FGM
magnetometer experiment

plasma
Interplanetary solar wind and Jovian magnetospheric data from
the SWOOPS and SWICSs plasma experiments.

merged
Hourly averages of merged solar wind magnetic field (MAG) and
plasma (SWOOPS) data

particle
Interplanetary and Jovian energetic particle data from the
COSPIN, EPAC, and HISCALE experiments

dust
Interplanetary dust particle measurements from the DUST
experiment

radio
Information on interplanetary radio & plasma wave data from
the URAP and SCE experiments. SCE data are available here.

gamma
Information and software for solar and celestial x-ray /
gamma-ray burst data from the Gamma Ray Burst (GRB) experiment

gas
Full sky, interstellar helium, and Jupiter imaging data in
ecliptic coordinates from the neutral gas (GAS) experiment.

traj
Interplanetary and Jovian planetocentric spacecraft ephemeris
data

misc
Miscellaneous text files with information relating to the
Ulysses mission, experiments, or personnel.
