Abstract:
In English: The main scientific objectives of the campaign were: To create a data base indispensable to the reduction of geomagnetic surveys. To determine the geologic structures these surveys require an accurate data reduction because of the complexity of the magnetic records, due to the big amount of information in them (internal contribution: main and crustal field; external contribution: ionospheric and induced currents) The measurement of the magnetic field elements in order to obtain the absolute values, and the trend of the secular variation in the zone. These data are recorded yearly and allow us to know their secular variation, that is a characteristic of the main field. To obtain data to investigate the volcano-magnetic and tecto-magnetic effects, knowing the temporal trends of lower scale in order to parameterize the processes, as well as their dependence. To study the ionospheric currents that produce periodic and a-periodic variations in the magnetic field, of external origin. En Espanol: Los principales objetivos cientificos de la campana fueron: Proveer de una base de datos imprescindible para la reduccion de levantamientos geomagneticos. Para la determinacion de estructuras geologicas esos levantamientos requieren de una correcta reduccion de datos dada la complejidad del registro magnetico por la gran informacion que contiene (contribuciones internas: campos fundamental y cortical; contribuciones externas: corrientes ionosfericas e inducidas). Medida de los elementos del campo magnetico con el fin de obtener valores absolutos y de tendencia de la variacion secular de la zona. Se registran anualmente y permiten conocer su variacion secular que es una caracteristica del campo fundamental. Obtencion de datos para la investigacion de efectos volcanomagneticos y tectomagneticos, conociendo las tendencias temporales de menos escala para parametrizar los procesos asi como su dependencia. Estudio de las corrientes ionosfericas que generan variaciones periodicas y aperiodicas de origen externo del campo magnetico. |
