Firn permeability at sites in West Antarctica
Entry ID:
WAIS_Permeability
Summary
Abstract:
This data set lists the measured snow and firn density and permeability at
sites in West Antarctica. The measurements were done on consecutive ten- centimeter sampling in snow pits and from firn cores down to approximately fifteen meters depth. The site locations are as follows: Siple Dome US-ITASE 99-1 80o 36' S, 122o 28' E US-ITASE 99-2 81o 11' S, ... ![]()
