Summary

Abstract: Saltwater intrusion is responsible for the destruction of baldcypress
(Taxodium distichum (L.) Rich) swamps along the Louisiana Gulf Coast. Recent
restoration efforts have focused on the identification of baldcypress genotypes
with greater tolerance to saline conditions than previously reported. The
objective of this research was to increase knowledge of the genotypic variation
in baldcypress ...

Purpose: The objective of this research was to increase knowledge of the genotypic
variation in baldcypress salt tolerance by performing a field study,
physiological studies, and a germination study using different seed sources.
