Summary
Abstract: The water quality data is submitted under the requirements of the
Safe Drinking Water Act.

The results may represent water quality from multiple sources or types
of sources (i.e., surface water and groundwater).

The data includes radionuclides, synthetic organic chemicals, volatile
organic chemicals, inorganic chemicals, and total coliform bacteria.

Additional information, such as surface water pH, temperature, may be
available in paper format.

Quality Samples are collected by the public water systems and analyzed by
various laboratories. The results are then reported to the Vermont
Department of Environmental Conservation, Water Supply Division.
Access Constraints Access is available on computer located at the Waterbury offices
of the Department of Environmnetal Conservation. Paper files or
microfiche of older records are available for review in Middlesex, Vermont.
Use Constraints A request to conduct a file review is necessary to review the paper files.
