Surface water Rights in the Little Thunder Creek Basin
Entry ID:
wygisc_swrights
Summary
Abstract:
This data layer provides a spatial data input parameter for surface
water modeling associated with Wyoming's Cumulative Hydrologic Impact Assessment for coal mining activities in the Powder River Coal Region. Surface water rights (ditches, enlargements, reservoirs, and stock reservoirs) found in the Little Thunder Creek Basin. Each polygon is attributed with additional descriptive data obtained from the State Engineers' Office Advanced Revelation (AREV) database. The feature data were originally produced by digitizing manually traced water right polygons off of 1:24,000 USGS quadrangles. Geographic Coverage
