Stream-flow measurements in Rock Creek drainage
Entry ID:
MSU_1
Summary
Abstract:
Stream flow was measured at each sentinel cage site in the Rock Creek (MT) drainage in 2001, 2002 and 2003. (For locations of sentinel cages, see: Granath, W.O., Jr., M.A. Gilbert, E.J. Wyatt-Pescador, and E.R. Vincent. In Review. Epizootiology of Myxobolus cerebralis, the causative agent of salmonid whirling disease, in the Rock Creek Drainage of west central Montana.)
Purpose: These data were collected in order to examine the effect of stream flow on whirling disease severity. They will be used in conjunction with other habitat assessment, temperature, habitat restoration, T. tubifex, and sentinel cage data to study transmission dynamics of whirling disease. (Source:MSU)
