Summary
Abstract:
The European Diatom Database (EDDI) is a web-based information system designed
to enhance the application of diatom analysis to problems of surface water acidification, eutrophication and climate change. Ninety-six sites are included from a Norwegian data set developed by Birks et al. (unpublished). Of these, ninety-two samples from lakes in southern and central Norway have been applied as a training set (ter Braak & Juggins 1993, Larsen 2000). Geographic Coverage
