Quality
This data set consist of multi-year bottom-temperature time series from dozens of "fixed" locations on the NE Continental Shelf. Since sensors are attached to active fishing gear that moves around a bit in slightly different depths, it is often difficult to distinguish oceanographic events from depth-dependent temperature changes. Users should contact me, james.manning@noaa.gov to discuss this quality issue and determine exact locations.
