The Atmospheric Lifetime Experiment (ALE) and its successor the Global
Atmospheric Gases Experiment (GAGE) encompassed measurements of two different halocarbons species as well as nitrous oxide (N2O) at five globally distributed sites: Ireland (Adrigole & Mace Head), Oregon (Cape Meares), Barbados (Ragged Point), Samoa (Point Matatula) and Tasmania (Cape Grim).
