Abstract:
This study began in 1885. The area is naturally regenerated woodland
since 1885. Map of 1623 shows the field as arable. Arable crops were also present 1847-78. The field was left fallow 1879-82. Clover was grown 1883-85; last cut 1885. Last cultivated 1883.
