Summary

Abstract: The Coupled Ocean/Atmosphere Mesoscale Prediction System (COAMPS) is an
analysis-nowcast and forecast tool applicable for any given region of the
earth. It was developed at the Naval Research Laboratory Monterey, CA and is
run operationally at U. S Navy Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography
Center.
