Summary
Abstract: Volunteers are asked to report horseshoe crab sightings in New
Hampshire.

Type: Estuary

Waterbody or Watershed Names: Great Bay Estuary; Seabrook-Hampton Estuary

Purpose: Horseshoe crabs live along the coast from Mexico to Maine.
Unfortunately, they are diminishing in number in New Hampshire. Fish and Game
is trying to learn more about the habitat of horseshoe crabs by monitoring the
spawning and nursery grounds in the Great Bay Estuary and the Seabrook-Hampton
Estuary.
