Summary

Abstract: This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic organosulfur compounds made by Angela Hatton during the Challenger 119B research cruise in the North Sea as part of the Land Ocean Interaction Study (LOIS) and the Rivers, Atmospheres and Coast Study (RACS). The cruise began on 14th June 1995 and ended on 28th June 1995 with a spatial coverage of +53N to +56N latitude and +2W to +2E longitude.

The data consists of:
-98 measurements of the concentration of dimethyl sulphide (DMS) per unit volume of the water column by Millipore prefiltration purging, cryogenic trapping and gas chromatography.
