Oceanographic Station Data from the Indian Ocean

Summary

Abstract: Nansen bottle casts are available for Indian Ocean including Arabian Sea, Bay
of Bengal, Laccadive Sea and Andaman & Nicobar Seas, from 1960 to the present.
Temperature and salinity are available for 24,116 stations. This file contains
data collected during IIOE (1960-65), collected by GEOSEC (1977-78), collected
by R.V. Gaveshani (1976-88) and ORV Sagar Kanya (1983-88), ISMEX (1973) and
MONEX (1979). Chemical data including oxygen, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia,
phosphate, silicon, and pH are available for 23,286 of these stations. This
file contains the IIOE (1960-65) and R.V. Gaveshani and ORV Sagar Kanya
(1976-88) data.
