Summary
Abstract: The Western South Atlantic mangrove ecosystems of Brazil, roughly 85% of 7,367 km of coastline covering 16 States, on the North Region is based on 18 publications and some of them were kindly indicated by Dr. Victoria Judith Isaac Nahum, from Laboratorio de Biologia Pesqueira e Manejo de Recursos Aquaticos, Centro de Ciencias Biolgicas, Universidade Federal do Para (UFPA).
