The oceanographic campaign is framed in the international Ocean Drilling Program (OPD). It was focused on the recovering of bottom marine sediments to rebuilt the ocean history and the terrestrial dynamics in general. 7 stations were researched from 40ºS to 55ºS, to analyze the chalky nanofossils registered in the sediments.
