Summary
Abstract: Currently, the data set is comprised of approximately 450
granulometric analyses of 70 loose grain mineralogical preparations
from 30 geological sections of Seymour Island, Antarctica. The data
set also includes 100 microprobe heavy mineral analyses of sandstones from
the La Meseta Formation. Fifty thin sections of sandstones from the Sobral,
Cross Valley, and La Meseta Formations have been prepared.
