Summary
Abstract: Get a complete view of the wind observations across the Southeast coast.
Static and animated display of elevation normalized wind speed and
direction data is available.

Measurements of wind speed and direction, collected from a variety of
platforms, are shown. A wind barb is displayed at each measurement
location. The wind barb is like an arrow that points towards the
direction the wind is blowing and which has more feathers for greater
wind speeds. Measurement sites include sea buoys, ships coastal
stations and airports
