Summary
Abstract: The VEMAP Reference Data collection contains the following datasets:

Geography - elevation, area, and percent land area for each VEMAP grid-cell.
Landcover - potential natural vegetation under current conditions.
Soil modes - the number of dominant (modal) soils in each VEMAP
grid-cell for which soils data are available.

Note that the VEMAP1 published simulations were based on the mineral
soil ... View entire text

Quality Using the OrthoRadar software By ERDAS it was possible to orient the two Radarsat scenes using the derived control points. The results of the orientations can be seen in the attached table in appendix 2.
The rectified Radarsat images fit to existing data derived from SPOT. The maximum discrepancy between the data sets appears to be approximately 190m and generally between 60 - 100m. There also seems to be a good correlation with the contours derived from the existing Radarsat imagery.

All coordinates were projected to UTM Zone 43 on WGS84 datum.
