Summary
Abstract: The Binghamton University's- Census 2000 Map Server was designed by the GIS
Core Facility in conjunction with Computing Services at Binghamton University.
This website allows users to thematically map census data across the entire
United States.

The GIS Core Facility had downloaded the majority of the Census 2000 data and
made them more useful and easier to access in map and tabular format. For
example, the data are reorganized on a topical basis (race, migration,
employment, citizenship, and socioeconomic and housing) and can readily be
accessed and used by state and more micro-geographies including county, MSA,
zip code, and census tract. The data now are relational and available for
download.
