L3ToGran: Locating Level-2 Granules from a Level-3 Global Image

Summary
Abstract: This IDL tool locates level-2 granules that contain data that
lie within a user specified lat/lon rectangle, where the center
point is selected from a level-3 global image. The user clicks
on the image to select a lat/lon point and then specifies a
latitude and longitude epsilon (to define the rectangle
size). The program then locates all granules (located in user
specified directories) that contain any pixels that lie within
the specified rectangle.

Limitations: The Level-3 HDF file containing the desired base image, as well as
the Level-2 HDF files to be searched must be visible to the program. That is,
the HDF files must be accessible from the platform where the program is
running.

Installation Tips: Once the files are unzipped and untarred, examine the README
and HowToRun text files for more details on installing and running the code.
