This learning resource is provided by botanist Dr. Hugh Wilson of Texas A&M
University, also host of the Flowering Plants Gateway. Botany 301, is a
Web-enhanced, mid-level introductory course on the taxonomy of flowering
plants. Geared towards undergraduates, the site includes illustrated,
hyperlinked Lecture Notes; illustrated Laboratory Notes (includes Basic
Classification, Nomenclature, and Keys; and Family Studies from Magnoliopsida
through Liliopsida), two Floras (The Navasota and Texas Endemics), and On-line
Data (local and global).
