Abstract: WorldSat International Inc., in conjunction with Metria Satellus, has completed
a cloud-free satellite image mosaic of Europe (excluding Russia), at a
resolution designed for work at scales of up to 1:500,000. This data set is
based on Resurs satellite data with a resolution of 160 metres per pixel. The
mosaic is based on a series of satellite images captured during a three-year
period (1996-1998) ...
