Summary
Abstract: The USDA Forest Service Active Fire Maps are ArcIMS map services are interactive web-based maps that facilitate the display of MODIS fire detection data in conjunction with other geospatial data layers. Fire detection data on these interactive maps are updated hourly. Users may include geospatial data layers of their choice as well as pan and zoom to a desired map extent.
