Abstract: ACME MAPPER, Acme labs, one best ways to get students interested in maps is by
having them view sites of relevance whether it be home, school, or favorite
vacation spot. The Acme Mapper makes this easier. Using imagery or topographic
maps filed with TerraServer, the site has these advantages: a) the ability to
enter GPS coordinates (lat-long or UTM - WGS 84) to find desired locations, b)
a marker that indicates where you clicked. It remains fixed despite re-zooming.
c) an ability to specify how big you want output like 4 x 6, 10 x 8, or 3 x 5
inch plots.
